Very bad day.
We have to write this one off. Probably one of the worst Sassco performances to date.
The side put together seemed okay, but realistically, we didn’t want it. A few players stepped up, but the majority seemed like strolling it. We actually had plenty of decent chances, but were picked off at the back.
The goal-side used by half the defence and the high line used by the faster ones just made it all disjointed.
We write this one off as a one off and hit back next week. Eight forced changes didn’t help, but the players were individually good, so it shouldn’t have been so bad.
